# Evidence-Backed Founder Diagnosis — Founding Beta

The open-source OPC Clinic prompt stays free under MIT.

This paid service is for founders who have already built, launched, or tested something and want the diagnosis checked against the outside world.

## Founding beta offer

**$59 USDC per accepted diagnosis**

Three founding-beta slots are available in the current sprint.

The price is intentionally a founding-beta price: the goal is to earn proof from real paid cases, not to pretend an unproven service already deserves consulting-agency pricing.

You receive:

1. **Root-cause diagnosis** — the single most important bottleneck, tied to facts you supplied.
2. **External evidence check** — current competitors, customer complaints, pricing, substitutes, or market signals relevant to the diagnosis.
3. **Contradiction check** — what evidence would make the diagnosis wrong.
4. **7-day experiment plan** — 1–3 tests with measurable pass/fail criteria.
5. **Kill / continue rule** — what to stop doing if the evidence does not support the hypothesis.
6. **One follow-up pass** — one clarification/revision in the same GitHub issue.

This is deliberately not a 40-page generic report. The output is short enough to act on and evidence-backed enough to disagree with.

## Founding-beta decision guarantee

The paid deliverable must contain **at least one falsifiable bottleneck hypothesis** tied to your supplied facts and **at least one measurable 7-day test with a pass/fail rule**.

If the delivered diagnosis does not meet that standard, request a refund in the same GitHub issue within 24 hours of delivery. The fee can be returned from the payment received for that case.

This is a deliverable-quality guarantee, not a guarantee of revenue, growth, fundraising, or any other business outcome.

## This is not idea validation

Low-cost automated idea-validation tools already exist. This service is for a different moment: you already have reality to inspect — visits, signups, trials, calls, rejections, usage, or revenue — but you cannot tell whether the bottleneck is demand, positioning, pricing, activation, conversion, or distribution.

Typical good-fit symptoms:

- "People use the free version, then disappear."
- "Traffic exists, conversion does not."
- "People say it is useful, but nobody pays."
- "I cannot tell whether this is a product problem or a distribution problem."

## How ordering works

1. **Reserve a beta slot for free** using the `Free Founder Bottleneck Triage` GitHub issue template.
2. The case is checked for fit before any payment is requested.
3. If accepted and you want the deeper pass, payment instructions for **59 USDC on Base** are posted in the same issue.
4. Add the transaction hash to the issue after payment so the payment can be verified.
5. Once payment and context are complete, the founding-beta target is delivery within **24 hours**.
6. The same issue remains the workroom for research, diagnosis, the 7-day experiment plan, and one follow-up pass.

> Do not send funds before your case is accepted. Use only the payment instructions posted in the accepted issue; do not send funds to wallet addresses copied from third-party messages or unrelated comments.

## What to share

Please do not upload secrets, passwords, API keys, private customer data, or anything you are not comfortable placing in a GitHub issue. Sanitize details where needed.

The minimum useful context is:

- What you sell and to whom
- What has actually happened so far (users, revenue, traffic, conversations, experiments)
- Where you think you are stuck
- What decision you need to make in the next 7 days

## Scope

Good fit:

- SaaS / AI products
- solo founders and small teams
- positioning, demand, conversion, activation, pricing, acquisition, MVP scope
- post-launch or post-test situations with real evidence

Not a fit:

- pure idea-stage validation with no real-world evidence
- legal, tax, investment, medical, or regulated professional advice
- requests for guaranteed revenue or guaranteed fundraising
- requests that require private credentials or access to confidential systems

## Evidence standard

Every material external claim should be traceable to a source. When evidence is weak or contradictory, the diagnosis should say so instead of pretending certainty.

## Refund / non-delivery rule

Fit is checked before payment. If an accepted paid order later cannot be delivered because it is out of scope, the payment should be returned before substantive work starts. The founding-beta decision guarantee above also applies after delivery. Once a substantive diagnosis meeting that guarantee has been delivered, the fee covers the work performed; it does not guarantee a business outcome.

## Why this exists

The free OPC Clinic helps you interrogate your own story. The paid layer asks a harder question:

> Does the outside world support the story you are telling yourself?

That external check is the product.
